Brothers of The Sun (Kenny Chesney & Tim McGraw)

Brian and I bought ourselves tickets to the Kenny Chesney and Tim McGraw concert at Lucas Oil Stadium for Christmas and the time finally came to enjoy that present. We had amazing seats!

Bianca and Joe were in town for the show too.

This concert was amazing! The purpose of this blog post is for me to be able to relive the experience. I'm pretty sure I have a few girl friends who will enjoy this too.

1st up : Jake Owen

 Then came Grace Potter but I didn't feel the need to take a picture so we will move on to Tim McGraw!
He spent a lot of time out at the very end of the stage in the crowd which was perfect for us...see for yourself

And...we are ready for Kenny

He entered the stadium on top of the sound booth which was behind us.

Still on the sound booth but I had to post a shot of his back side :)

He flew (road this thing) up to the stage which went directly over our heads.
 I felt like I could reach up and touch his boots.

This is the only picture posted here that was of just the video board.

 He moves around so much and so fast it was hard to get a really good picture.

Now, time for Tim to come back for them to sing together

Tim appeared on the sound booth this time and then walked in right by us.

These two were having a great time.

Happy 2nd Birthday Paige

Here are a few of our favorite shots from her 2 year photo shoot. Angela with Times to Treasure Photography continues to do a wonderful job of capturing the essence of Paige.

At her 2 year doctors appointment she weighed in at 32 lbs and 37.25 inches.

She's still a big, healthy, & happy girl.

She loves to run, jump, sing, dance, color, read books,

 help with anything she can, chase Carlie & Mackey and test her parents.



Paige had a great 2nd birthday party!

On June 25th she lost one of her front teeth in an accident at daycare so we kept her a safe distance away from the cake when it was time to blow out her candle. Why you may ask? Now, when she tries to blow she shoots spit out of the hole where her tooth used to be.

Her party was on Saturday but her actual birthday was on Sunday July 1st so we took her to the Children's Museum (one of her favorite places)





Fun in the sun

Our first trip to the zoo this season was a big hit for all of us.

 Zoo trip #2 was for the friday night concert series with Mimi and Papa for fathers day.

The tiger was sleeping right up against the glass...so cool...Paige loved it!

Spending some time in the pool with cousin Brayden.

I obviously picked the girly skirt but she got her personality across when she put her baseball hat on and started digging in the yard barefoot.

A visit from Aunt Betsy

Betsy was in town this weekend for a wedding so Paige got a chance to spend some quality time with her.

Betsy wanted to join us for soccer on Saturday morning.

Betsy headed north for her friends wedding and the rest of us headed to a family reception. I just loved Paige's dress so I thought I'd include this picture.

Betsy gave Paige her birthday present (pink soccer ball & goal) so they could play with it together.

Mimi and I got to watch the Betsy, Papa, & Paige parade of toys from our chairs.



And...she wouldn't get in the car to go shopping after her nap without her new soccer ball.
